This is a new music model. Gone are the days when fans of a performer bought the records, went to shows and were kept at arms length. Now we can all connect. Music isn't just made by the mega stars that walk this earth. This a great way to connect and to distribute music out to people.
I am a folk artist with roots in rock, blues, country and pop. I perform solo in clubs, concerts, house concerts, and with the band, The Human Wilderness. I write songs that might be considered to be a half a bubble out of plumb. I think our lives are more complicated and twisted with story lines and characters that go beyond anthemic choruses and party all night celebrations, though there's nothing wrong with that. But there have always been a lot of people doing that. I never was that rah rah guy.

Jeff Smith
Virginia
Jeff Smith writes songs and tells elongated and elliptical stories about them. Jeff's Appalachian drawl slides in and around his guitar playing and Smith says “on a good night the stories and songs swing on top of a funky kind of country blues pop stomp”. Now residing in the swamps of Virginia, Smith performs club gigs and
concerts.
